Keratoconus for the Everyday Optometrist with Deepak Gupta, OD
Course Description: This course will discuss the risk factors for developing keratoconus including a brief differential diagnosis. It will also review the tests to be performed on a patient suspected of having keratoconus. In the management section, we will discuss contact lens options, including specialty gas permeable lenses and achieving a 3 point touch. We will discuss surgical options such as Penetrating Keratoplasty and Corneal Cross-Linking.
